Announcement

An important announcement that affects my book project (in a positive way) has been posted on my personal blog.

A New Chapter

I have begun a new chapter in my book. I am very excited about the subject material in this chapter. I think that it will surprise many. I wish I could say more than that but it will ruin the surprise! This chapter was born out of an "AHA!" moment. I really do not know why I did not think of writing it before. However, I'm glad that I did think of it because I have been having trouble with writers block recently. I hope that this surprise is well received as I believe that it is vital information.

I will have more news to share very soon. No promises, but this news may help me to finish the book earlier than expected.

Twelve More

Twelve more tips have gone in to my book. I didn't get a chance to work on it as much as I would have liked to this week due to a blood sugar crash on Wednesday which left me bed ridden during the time that I had set aside to write that day. I'm glad I was able to work on something in the book this week, though. I also settled on the font that I will be publishing in. Times New Roman 12 point seems to be a decent standard. It's an APA standard for a reason.

Half Way There

Now that I am half way done with my book project, I can finally talk about it in a limited fashion! I figured that once it was half way done, I could talk about it without the possibility that I would end up not completing it. There's no turning back now! I'm still not comfortable with saying what the book is about to everyone, but I can talk about what kind of book it will be. It will be a tip book. It will be relatively short and in pocket book form. There will be at least 250 tips. I'm currently at 125. It's been a difficult process coming up with this many tips, and it will likely be harder coming up with the next 125. However, I am doing my best to make sure that it is published by next year. As you can probably tell, I've already come up with a title for this book. However, I will be calling the book by it's code name (WOSC) until it is much closer to completion.

Another thing that I have been working on related to this project is the book's cover. I'm working with a very talented photographer to help set the mood for the book. The photo that you see on the left was not shot by him. That is a photograph that I took through my car's windshield. I heavily doctored it. It's a place holder until the real book cover is made and ready to show.
